Everyone in this age just started switching to digital media from televisions nowadays. The trend started with the promotions of various platforms like Netflix and amazon prime. Reasons, why people are switching, is mainly content.
Good meaningful content is all everyone wants to watch, even paying for it.
This first time I am reviewing any Digital media content, mainly because it’s from my own homeland. Yes, I am here to talk about Ayesha. Just like the very common name among women in Pakistan, Ayesha is a web series about common Woman. I started watching it as per recommended by every other person on my list.
There is a very common saying that if you’re staying home or a housewife, you are actually doing low or no work.
While the truth is exactly the opposite. Ladies staying homework more than a regular office going person, without wages.
I am so happy that somebody took a step to break this myth from the majority of minds.
Ayesha is a story of a very middle-class type household, as the majority of people are in Pakistan. A woman who is a wife, and a mother majorly while she is a cook, cleaner, and manager of the house. The web series is initiated with a great cause of calcium awareness for all those ladies who neglect or forget themselves by serving their families all alone.
Ayesha is played by the immensely talented poet and actress, Yasra Rizvi. Sarmad khoosat is playing Ayesha’s husband while shees Sajjad gull, mere pass tum ho famed kid is playing his character as Ayesha’s kid.
Didn’t you watch the episode of Ayesha? Watch it here.
The first episode starts off when Ayesha wakes up. She sets her alarm a few minutes before everyone else woke up. Ayesha has to take care of breakfasts with choices of everyone, makes lunchbox of his kid while being on time.
Also, nobody is here to understand what she is going through. She heard a crack from her knee when she bent down to tie up the lace, while his husbands take this very immaturely saying that its because she doesn’t do any work or activity.
Ayesha sees them off to their destinations, while all the house is here to be managed.
She cooks and did chores. Played happily with her kid tantrums also being cranky on him sometimes like all mothers do.
Last shot took my heart when she looks at all frames where pictures of her childhood were displaying. Seems like she lost herself while serving to all the relationships she is in.
Lastly, I am thankful to the makers. Ali Memon, Yasir Aqeel, super director me Najaf bilgarami to summed up all in just a few minutes. Yasra Rizvi and sarmad for portraying the best. Calcium 1000 plus to bring this important issue into the limelight and used the correct way of digital media.
